Title
Blackbody Calibration Instruments (03)
Description
Blackbody Calibration Instruments (03). Blackbody calibration instrument component.
To advance the performance of infrared remote sensing instruments, SSEC has developed several infrared spectrometers that incorporate blackbody calibration sources as a fundamental part of the instrument to provide self-calibration during normal operation. These infrared spectrometers are used primarily for measuring the intensity of the Earth atmospheric radiation at different wavelengths. Space Science and Engineering Center, University of Wisconsin-Madison.
